Police have discovered human remains in the search for Belgian backpacker Celine Cremer, who went missing in Tasmania’s wilderness in June 2023. A bushwalker found the remains near Philosopher Falls, where Cremer was last seen. The discovery was made during a renewed search effort in December 2025. Formal forensic analysis is pending to confirm if the remains belong to Cremer.
